Foods You Must Avoid --
A list of foods you are allowed to eat and must avoid to maintain a healthy lifestyle!
ALLERGIES
FOODS YOU ARE ALLOWED
- Any meat. That means beef, pork, lamb, rabbit, venison and other meats. Not included are ham, bacon, and other cured meats.
- Fowl. You may eat turkey, duck, quail, game birds, and even ostrich steaks.
- Any fish. That means any fish or seafood in its natural state, but avoid smoked fish.
- Any fruits except citrus. There is quite a variety of exotic fruits to try!
- All vegetables are allowed. This includes salad foods, naturally.
- Certain canned or packaged foods are allowed. Canned fish such as sardines, salmon or tuna are fine, as are canned tomatoes. Frozen fish, vegetables and other foods are also fine.
- Dried fruit and nuts are OK. Be aware, though, that most dried fruits are treated in some way, so it is better to buy from a health food shop run by knowledgeable people who can guarantee that their goods have not been subjected to this type of adulteration. Get dry shelled nuts only.
FOODS YOU MUST AVOID
- No grains.
Grains are the grass family: Wheat, corn, barley, rye, oats, rice and millet. Do not eat substitutes, such as spelt, which is really a kind of wheat.
- No dairy products.
This includes goat’s milk and sheep’s milk substitutes.
- No stimulant drinks.
No tea, coffee or alcohol.
- Quit smoking.
You know you cannot seriously improve your health until you do.
- No sugar or substitutes.
It doesn’t matter if it’s natural or synthetic. No sugar, honey, stevia, aspartame, saccharine or any other sweetener.
- Egg is not allowed.
- Chicken is not permitted.
Cross-reactions can occur. Sensitivity to egg may mean a likely reaction to chicken and vice-versa.
- No citrus foods.
That means no orange, lemon, grapefruit, etc.
- No manufactured food of any kind.
Nothing from jars, cans, bottles or packages. Nothing altered, “smoked” or flavored. Just eat your food as Nature made it.
