perfectlyhealthy was created to empower and educate individuals and their families to help them to achieve their maximum lifespan, with the highest quality of health throughout; feeling great, looking great, with high energy and high spirits!"
The idea for
perfectlyhealthy sprang from the realization that, at the core, we are a very unhealthy nation. The food that we put into our body's, the water that we drink and the air that we breath no longer provides us with the necessary nutrients that it did only a hundred years ago. The playing field between health and environment long ago stopped being even. Stacked against us are a host of new diseases, immunizations that cause more harm than good, and antibiotics that are no longer as capable of battling the environment's toxic invaders as they once were.
Annually, billions of dollars are spent on health care, all with an aim at treating or curing illness.
perfectlyhealthy's medical advisor, Leigh Erin Connealy, M.D., believes that the key to maintaining good health is to prevent problems before they start. For years, her treatment plans have included
perfectlyhealthy's all natural supplements. Often quoting the words of nutritionist Adele Davis, "Let medicine be your food and your food be your medicine", Dr. Connealy believes in giving the body the best possible tools to combat illness.
With our all-natural products,
perfectlyhealthy aims to level the playing field by providing you with the vitamins, minerals and nutrients that are missing from the Standard American Diet (SAD). We believe that everyone deserves to live a long and healthy life and that
perfectlyhealthy is your first step on the path to wellness.

LEIGH ERIN CONNEALY, M.D., M.P.H. received a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Texas and her M.D. from the University of Chicago. She did her postgraduate training in family practice at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Connealy began practicing medicine in 1986. More and more of her patients started asking about alternative treatments and this prompted her to learn everything she could about nontoxic protocols. In 1992, she founded the South Coast Medical Center for New Medicine in Irvine, California, where she serves as Medical Director. Her practice is firmly based in the belief that strictly treating health problems with medications does not find the root cause of the illness.
The Center’s doctors, nurse practitioners and complementary medical specialists work synergistically to provide the very best of “New Medicine”, focusing on determining the root cause of illness, and looking at the whole person relative to nutritional, physiological, social and environmental effects. Their “prescriptions” routinely included customized dietary and lifestyle recommendations, nutritional supplements, and other complementary therapies.
The Center provides patients access to some of the world’s most technologically advanced medical equipment, which is usually found only at select university research hospitals. This includes a non-invasive, cutting-edge 64-slice CT scan machine, which scans the body, heart and lungs, and performs vital colonoscopies. Since it can detect life-threatening diseases in a matter of minutes, it can greatly improve recovery and survival rates, which is imperative since studies indicate that 3 out of every 4 people will die from heart disease and cancer.
Aromatherapy and colon hydrotherapy are two exciting new treatments that have been added to the Center’s vast array of services for men and women, which include gynecology, natural infertility, menopause, hormone balancing, healthy sexuality, healthy aging, and personalized preventative medicine; alternative treatments for chronic diseases including cancer, heart disease, and diabetes; acupuncture; and detoxification therapies.
Dr. Connealy writes monthly health columns for “Coast” and “OC Health”, Orange County based magazines and is published in “The Journal of the American Nutraceutical Association” (JANA), along with Healthy Aging Magazine. She most recently had the leading “feature” article on Newstarget.com and Nutraceuticalreport.com posted. She is also a weekly co-host on Frank Jordan’s national radio show “Healthy, Wealthy & Wise” on XM Satellite Family Talk 170. Dr. Connealy is a frequent guest speaker at professional organizations and on local cable television shows when highlighting health topics like "KTBN" and "Know The Cause" with Doug Kauffman.
Dr. Connealy believes that part of the path to wellness is through vitamins and supplements. South Coast Medical Center carries over 1,000 nutritional supplements.
In addition, Dr. Connealy developed a line of products called “perfectlyhealthy” products for healthy living, due to decades of experience and successful clinical results stemming from her patients. She is truly helping her patients get well, and find their path to wellness each and every day.
Dr. Connealy truly has a mission to empower and educate individuals and their families to help them achieve their maximum lifespan, with the highest quality of life throughout; feeling great, looking great, with high energy and high spirits!
